Before doing this you should assign working with Windows to e.g. the  key in the Initial Configuration Wizard, Basic Configuration tab. Select Windows (with e.g. the   key) and press the key.   Hold it and press the key . Your computer should shut down after 20sec.

First you have to assign working with Windows to a button  in the Initial Configuration Wizard in the Basic Configuration tab. Next, press the button  , hold it  and concurrently press the button several times.  . In this way you can choose the time to the PC shutdown ( 15min, 30min, 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h)

• There are two ways:

1. Switching between application windows assigned to the PC MAK selection keys: , , ,  and + , , , . Double pressing any of these keys will restore the relevant window. PC MAK will be controlling this application.

2. You can also switch between all active windows. First select working with Windows (e.g. the  ) Switch between applications through holding the key on the remote control and pressing the  or . In this way you restore the application window, but do not change the application you are controlling.

• Check if the IR receiver is correctly connected to the PC.
• Open irPC configuration window. Go to the Basic Configuration tab and press the Search button. The asterisk denotes this port, which the IR receiver is connected to, e.g. COM2*.
• Check if the COM port, you want to use, is in the list of available hardware and is properly installed. If not, contact your PC provider.
• The COM port, you connected the IR receiver to, may be used by other application, e.g. a mobile phone program or an irDA receiver. Try to turn off the irDA or the program that may use the COM port.
• Go to the Basic Configuration tab and check if the name selected in the Remote Control Configuration selection list is the same as on your remote control.
• In case of USB IR receiver check the system properties if a USB controller is installed.

• Some applications do not have some features available. If you really miss this function, maybe you should try other application, e.g. SubEdit Player or Koala.

• Check if the file path for the  function is correct. In the Button Functions list find the . Double click on it. In the Properties tab press the Browse… button. Select the program file and press OK. New file path can be entered into the command line using the Replace Function button or the Enter key.

• Follow the instructions in the section: The selected key has no effect on the application
  

• It happens when the PLC is overloaded. The volume can be then adjusted through short single presses of the volume control keys.

• Other reason may be that the IRDA port is working. You can change the position of IR receiver (so they cannot „see” each other) or turn off the IRDA service in your PC when it is not needed.

It is not possible with the remote control as Windows Media Player does not allow this feature in case of divx movies (no hot key provided). If the movie file is of „.wmv” type, this feature will work correctly.
